JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI – October 11, 2022 – Pam Ware, Chief Operating Officer of First Commercial Bank (firstcommercialbk.com) today announced that veteran information technology executive Henry Jones has joined the bank as Chief Technology Officer.

Jones has been in the IT industry for the past 28 years. Prior to joining First Commercial he worked for Georgia-based Synovus Bank. He also previously worked for Renasant Bank.
“Henry has a wealth experience in banking, including specifically managing the core infrastructure of FIS, our third-party digital banking platform partner. His expertise also encompasses managing developers, and business analysts in regards to commercial lending applications, treasury platforms, such as lockbox, APIs and other core system integration projects, and Robotic Process Automation,” Ware said in a written statement.

“I personally have been blessed to work with Henry in the past and have accomplished some really awesome projects with him. I look forward to the great things we can achieve now that he has joined our team and will take the reins of our technology initiatives,” she said.
While plans call for Jones to be based primarily in First Commercial’s Jackson office, he will also work with team members in all of the bank’s markets over the next several months, and take charge of the bank’s in-progress technology projects.
